Text reminders about an upcoming court hearing. Anyone can sign up to receive a text reminder the afternoon before each hearing, which includes a link to details about the hearing. Text a case number to (575) 222-8484 to sign up.

You are not required to sign up for text hearing reminders.

Court Guide Text Hearing Reminders are a courtesy service. The Alaska Court System and wireless providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You are responsible for attending your court hearings and jury service.

To sign up for hearing reminders, text a case number to (575) 222-8484. You will receive an initial text. If you reply yes, you will receive a confirmation text and a text hearing reminder the afternoon before each hearing.

If you are a defendant in a criminal case, fill out:

• Defendant Contact Information form, CR-202 and file with the court.

The reminder will include:

• a link to important details about the hearing,
• hearing type,
• date and time,
• location, and
• case number and name.

Anyone. You do not have to be a party or a lawyer in the case.

Yes. There is no limit to how many cases you can receive reminders for.

The link in the text reminder opens a custom webpage with information about the upcoming hearing. It shows the case number, case name, hearing type, date, time, judge, courtroom location, a map, and any additional notes entered in the court’s system.

If you refresh or reopen the page after the hearing, you will see the docketed result for that specific hearing. It will not show information about any future hearings.

No. Each hearing has its own unique webpage. You will get a new link to a new webpage in the text reminder sent the afternoon before each scheduled hearing. Old links only show information about past hearings.

To unsubscribe from hearing reminders for one case:

• Text the case number you want to unsubscribe to (575) 222-8484.
• You will receive a text saying you are already subscribed.
• Reply DELETE.
• You will receive a text that you will no longer get reminders for that case.
• You will continue to receive messages for all other cases you signed up for, and other Alaska Court System text reminders you have signed up for, like jury service.
• Repeat this process to unsubscribe from other individual cases.

To restart hearing reminders, text START to (575) 222-8484. You will receive a text that you successfully re-subscribed to messages. If you are not receiving texts after restarting, text START to 34852.

Text STOP to (575) 222-8484 to stop all Court Guide Text Hearing Reminders for all cases.

Text STOP to 34852 to stop all Alaska Court System texts. This will also stop SB 91 criminal case and jury service reminder texts.

If you have ever texted STOP to 34852, you will not receive any texts from the Alaska Court System. Text START to 34852 to allow texts from the court. This includes Court Guide Text Hearing Reminders, SB 91 criminal case reminders, and jury service reminders.

This will not restart reminders for an individual case you unsubscribed from by texting the case number and DELETE to (575) 222-8484. To restart reminders in those cases you unsubscribed from, follow the steps again in How do I sign up for Court Guide Text Hearing Reminders?
