The Alaska Civil Pattern Jury Instructions were drafted by University of Virginia Professors Harvey S. Perlman and Stephen A. Saltzburg in 1981 under contract to the Alaska Court System. The instructions were reviewed and edited by a committee of lawyers and judges appointed by the Alaska Supreme Court.
